Whole Lamb Reservation
Reservation for a whole grass fed and finished lamb from Brown Dog Farm. This reservation covers the custom processing at our local artisan USDA butcher, Pinn Oak Ridge Farms., just 5 miles down the road. When they are sent you will receive a custom cut list form, so your lamb will be cut and packaged to your specifications. When final weights are made you will be billed your final payment. Upon receipt, you can pick up your lamb, vacuum packaged and ready to take home from our farm store. 2024 time-frame for animals to processor Nov 1-15,2024
Our lambs vary in size and weight depending on the breed. We estimate the range between 25-35 pounds of meat. Figure around 250 -350 $ /per animal. Deposit covers processing and packaging fees only. Whole lambs are $9.50 /pound. When animal is processed it will be weighed and we will notify you of the final weight and bill. We will keep a record of your cut list for future orders.
